About this session

Last month the House of Lords’ Democracy and Digital Technologies Committee released a major report on how digital technologies are affecting political campaigning, the electoral process, the quality of public debate, and people's wider engagement with politics.

In an interview with BBC cybersecurity correspondent Joe Tidy, lawyer and life peer Lord Holmes will discuss the committee’s recommendations to government. He will talk about how different arms of the state can protect democracy, engage tech giants in behaving responsibly - and hold them to account if they don’t.

As a registrant for this talk you will also get a copy of eBook: Improving Cybersecurity for Remote Working – 13 Recommendations by Mimecast, to opt-out of this complimentary eBook please email info@dataprotectionworldforum.com
